Mercedes-Benz has launched the facelift version of its GLS SUV in the Indian market, introducing both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is priced at Rs. 1.32 crores (ex-showroom), while the diesel variant is priced at Rs. 1.37 crores (ex-showroom). The 2024 GLS model exhibits significant design changes, making it a noteworthy addition to the luxury SUV segment.
The front profile of the car has undergone a noticeable transformation, replacing the 2-stripe design with an updated grille featuring four chrome parallel stripes. The front bumper design has also been revised, and the rear tail lights now showcase a fresh black pattern. Running lamps have seen some updates as well.

The Mercedes-Benz GLS Facelift boasts 21-inch alloy wheels, available in five colors: Obsidian Black, Hitech Silver, Sodalite Blue, Selenite Grey, and Polar White. The SUV offers three upholstery color options for its interiors: black, brown, and light beige.
The interior of the GLS Facelift is crafted with premium faux leather, complemented by features like a new steering wheel with haptic feedback button, MBUX infotainment system, and an off-road display option. The SUV measures 5.2 meters in length and has a width of 1.96 meters.
In terms of performance and safety, the Mercedes-Benz GLS Facelift comes equipped with a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder petrol engine generating 381hp and 500Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 367hp and 700Nm of torque. Both engines are integrated with a mild hybrid system, featuring an integrated starter-generator that produces an extra 20hp and 200Nm of torque. The SUV also features a 9-speed automatic gearbox and the latest in safety technology with the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The GLS Facelift’s rear seat package includes features such as a flash head restraint, electric sunblinds, and the convenience of folding seats for additional space. Rear passengers can enjoy a comfortable journey with the rear seat package.
