Renault, the renowned French car manufacturing company, has recently announced the launch of five new models in the Indian market by 2027. Among these models are the popular Triber and Kiger cars. However, the focus isn’t just on introducing new models; Renault is also venturing into the B+, C segment SUV models, expanding its portfolio.
Notably, Renault has recently launched the new Duster 7-seater version based on the Bigster Concept. This new car is set to hit the Indian market in the coming year, offering a fresh addition to Renault’s diverse lineup.
The Renault Kwid, already a popular choice in the market, is not only getting new gasoline models but also undergoing significant updates in its electric variant. The company is set to launch the 5th model in the electric lineup, known as Kwid EV, with various updates.
The electric Kwid is distinct from its gasoline counterpart, featuring changes in its bumper, lights, and grille to align with the evolving trends in Electric Vehicles (EV). The electric Kwid, already available in Europe with a 26.8kWh battery pack, provides an impressive mileage of 295 km. However, the Indian version may come with a different battery pack, and its price is expected to start from around Rs. 10 lakhs.

Portfolio Update
Renault has made significant updates to its model portfolio in 2024. The prices of various variants, such as Kwid, Triber, and Kiger, have been adjusted. The prices for different variants of Renault Kwid have been reduced by up to Rs. 22,000. Similarly, with the introduction of new updates, the Triber RXE variant sees a reduction of up to Rs. 34,000, while the RXL variant gets a price cut of Rs. 30,000.
Additionally, the Renault Kiger base variant sees a significant reduction of Rs. 50,000, and other variants have price adjustments ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 47,000. Renault’s strategic move to update its portfolio and introduce new models not only reinforces its commitment to the Indian market but also caters to the diverse preferences of consumers.
